Co-curricular activities play a vital role in the personality development of a child. They help in the social, emotional, and physical development of a child and teach them life skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership.
Participating in co-curricular activities also helps in improving a child’s self-confidence and decision-making abilities. It helps them discover their interests and passion, leading to the development of a well-rounded individual. Our school ensures to pay attention to different skills beyond academics.
SPORTS

Sports and Games are means of mental and physical growth. It develop a sense of friendliness. They develop in us team spirit. They help in developing mental and physical toughness.
Realizing the above words of wisdom, Vasavi Vidyalaya always gives equal opportunity to their students in both education and sports activities.Apart from simple exercises during morning assembly and games periods, every child is encouraged and given opportunity to participate in various Games & Sports activities of choice through Inter House competitions. All students are divided into groups to compete in Individual Sports events, while for competing in team Games, they are divided into four houses. Special coaching is also arranged.
HINDI
Being our National language, Hindi is also taught till Grade VIII. Students are given opportunity to appear exams of DBHPS. Spoken Hindi classes are also being conducted.
Clubs
CLUB ACTIVITIES
Our school not only imparts academic and subject knowledge but grooms its students in their individual talents too. They are encouraged to realize and nurture their inherent creativity.To sharpen them in bound skills, the school has different clubs. Each club has an identity, style and agenda of its own. The ambience in these clubs stimulates healthy learning. Trained people in their respective fields act as moderators and the students are also given the opportunity to organize the activities of the clubs.
INTERACT CLUB
‘Service Above Self’ has always been the motto of The Rotary Club. Interact Clubs bring together young people aged 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of ‘Service Above Self’.To instill these qualities in our youngsters, Interact Club of Vasavi Vidyalaya was installed in the year 2019.
The purpose of this club is to provide opportunity for young people to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to service and to improve the quality of school life and to serve the community through participation in various service projects.
STANDARD CLUB
Vasavi Vidyalaya has inaugurated “Students Standard Club” in association with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on 2021.
The main objective of this club is to provide learning opportunities in the field of quality and standardization through mutual collaboration in the form of a standard club. Standards club conducts competitions, webinars, workshops, industrial exposure visits which promotes the students professionally. Standards club also organizes atleast three programs in An academic year based on themes.
CONSUMER CLUB
The Citizen Consumer club of Vasavi Vidyalaya was inaugurated on 2022 with the motto “AWARE! ALERT!! And ACT!!!”, and it has been working on creating and spreading awareness on consumer rights amongst all students and through them to all consumer segments.
The objective of the club is to educate and motivate the Consumer Club Members about the rights and responsibilities of consumers and to make the members inculcate the valuable inputs which they gained among the general public.
